Cambridge Touring Theatre presents a funny musical romp through the world of Robin Hood, Friar Tuck, the Sherriff of Nottingham and Maid Marian at Oxburgh Hall on Friday. Mishaps abound as Robin and his band of merry men, attempt to defeat the 'not very nice' Sherriff of Nottingham and reclaim the throne for the rightful King of England. On Wednesday, July 21, also at Oxburgh Hall, acclaimed touring theatre company, The Lord Chamberlain's Men present Shakespeare's magical last play, The Tempest. It combines love, comedy and magic in equal measure. Performed in true Shakespearian style with an all-male cast, the unique mixture of location and performance makes the relationship between the actors, the text and the audience a thrilling event.
