Wayland Community High in Watton is gearing up for its Summer Event on July 12 from 10am to 4pm - with the highlight a flypast by the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
It is being organised by the Friends of Wayland High School which is raising funds for a new minibus to help the pupils have access to extra curricular activities and equipment that enhance their education and broaden their horizons.
The memorial flight will (weather and operational requirements permitting) feature the Lancaster, Hurricane and Spitfire but there are other attractions including The Life Guards Household Cavalry, a Bird of Prey Display, Watton's Wacky Olympics (It's A Knockout) Merriment, mayhem and mess, a craft fayre, Wayland Prison Dog Section, Classic Cars, Wildlife Trust, a beer tent and refreshments.
