SHOULD you admit to nostalgic feelings about Dansette record players from the 1960s or if Radio Luxembourg and the Horace Batchelor infra-draw method means anything to you, you will probably be giving away your age!

Swaffham Players' latest production, Love begins at Fifty, is liberally laced with references to this bygone era, although actually set in the 1990s.

It concerns the, up to now, uneventful 28 years of married life of Clive and Anita Debanks.

However all begins to change with the onset of a milestone birthday and a feeling that life is beginning to pass at least one of them by.

The attempted remedy leads to unexpected and often hilarious consequences for the couple and the people drawn into their lives.

The play is directed by Ian Sandell, who is also acting in the production, and is at the Sixth Form Centre, Market Place, Swaffham, on October 2, 3, 4, at 7.30pm.

Tickets can be obtained from 01760 721899 or at the Green Parrot Health Food Shop, Market Place, Swaffham.
