FAMILY fun is guaranteed when the Pandora's Box children's theatre company pays its third and final visit of the spring season to Westacre River Studios.

Following on the heels of the sellout shows, Burglar Bill and Pirate School, is a production of Katy and the Nurgla, which plays at the studios at West Acre, just north of Swaffham, on Saturday, May 31.

Katy's holiday in Majorca turns into an unexpected adventure when she meets the Nurgla, a mysterious purple sea monster with an eventful past.

The show is about 50 minutes long and is suitable for the three to eight age group. There are performances at 11am and 2pm, and all tickets are £6.

Older children still have time to enrol on the three-day Beginners, Please! half-term holiday drama workshop for six to eight-year-olds at the River Studios.

It starts on Wednesday, May 28, and runs until the following Friday from 10am to 2pm. Youngsters taking part have the chance to develop their imagination and boost their confidence through drama games, creating and performing stories and short plays, and building characters, complete with costumes. Leader is Camilla Falconbridge, and the cost is £30.

Trojan Women, a new version of the classic Euripedes play adapted by the studios' own Andy Naylor, starts its run on Friday (subs May 16). There are performances on Fridays and Saturdays until May 24, and tickets are £12, or £6 for those aged 18 and under.
