West Acre's Bruce Welham tops the current East Anglian junior rankings , with several other West Norfolk players prevalent.

Welham is also still ranked number two nationally after the latest EJR junior ranking event held at Derby's Riley Club.

Welham had a disappointing day by his standards, losing in the plate final to Hartlepool junior international Chris Dyer, however West Lynn's Chris Drew had a better day only losing by 60 to the highly ranked Michael Williams (Teeside) in the second round.

This kept Christopher ranked number 10 nationally, and putting him in with a very good chance of being selected for the England junior team next season (top eight ranked finish required).

Danny O'Brien is now in equal 11th place with another local player Alex Ward (North Pickenham), while Chris Hollands (West Acre) is down to 13th, and Dan Westwood (Gaywood) 14th.
