WATTON Rugby Club's Seconds were away at Crusaders this weekend, again facing one of the favourites to win the league. Watton put in a gutsy performance, with players now fitting into their new positions, gaining regular ball control and try-scoring opportunities.
WATTON Rugby Club's Seconds were away at Crusaders this weekend, again facing one of the favourites to win the league.
Watton put in a gutsy performance, with players now fitting into their new positions, gaining regular ball control and try-scoring opportunities.
However, Crusaders showed their class by scoring some well-worked tries, and also converting with ease.
Watton did not give up, even when they were down to 14 players at 63 minutes.

Again there were new players turning out for Watton this weekend, showing that the club is now growing in numbers on a weekly basis.
Anyone interested in playing rugby for Watton is welcome to go along to training on a Tuesday evening at Watton Sports Centre, 7.15pm.
