Watton play host to hockey action
WATTON Junior Hockey Club hosted their annual U9's tournament at Watton Sports Centre last Sunday. The event, sponsored by accountants M & A Partners, drew fledgling players from the major hockey clubs around the county.
WATTON Junior Hockey Club hosted their annual U9's tournament at Watton Sports Centre last Sunday.
The event, sponsored by accountants M & A Partners, drew fledgling players from the major hockey clubs around the county. Norwich City, Dereham, Harleston Magpies, Pelicans (King's Lynn) and Watton were all represented.
The full morning of junior hockey saw great enthusiasm from the young players, many of whom having their first taste of tournament action. Harleston Magpies were the overall tournament winners.
