Chris Haythorpe looked back to his best with a impressive 9-4, 9-1, 9-2 straight game win.

Bobby Hunt was equally impressive but had to work hard in the third game coming through 9-5, 9-0, 10-8 also 3-0 in straight games.

Dev Mahatme shared the first two 9-5, 9-10 before nicking a tight third 10-8 but he lost the next 9-7.

The fifth was close but eventually his opponent just took it 10-8 with Dev going down 3-2.

Kevin Blake got his season off to a great start. The first two were shared 9-6, 6-9 with Kevin taking the third 9-3. The next went 5-9 against Kev.

The fifth was very competitive with Kev digging deep, taking it 10-8 to win

3-2.

First-string Paul Goodchild nicked the first 10-8 but thereafter took complete control, winning the next two 9-3, 9-2 to come through 3-0.

Overall, a 19-5 victory for Watton with an away trip to Cromer next up.
