Watton A through in cup
Watton United A entertained Great Yarmouth Peelers in the fourth round of the Norfolk Primary Cup. The squad remained the same after the 6-0 victory over Yaxham, but they started the game slowly and the Peelers left-winger broke free down the left-hand side, to cross in and as luck would have it, find the back of the net! But the A's didn't let their heads drop and soon after Tom Giddings scored in fine fashion to bring things even.

The last 15 or so minutes Peelers threw everything they had at the A's, but Watton rallied as a unit to keep Peelers at bay. In the last minute of the game Peelers had a goal disallowed which made everyone breathe a sigh of relief.
The final whistle finally came to the relief of a very tired, and battle torn A team. Well done to all the lads for showing the grit and determination that any manager would be proud to have seen.
