The triple of Barbara Pointer, Joan Bebee and Roger Braham won their first game 16-12, with Yvonne Basford substituting for Barbara Pointer.
The second game was won 24-9. The triple of Daphne Braham, Margaret Hunter and Ron Harvey won 17-12 and 14-13.
On the same day Watton's A-team were playing at home in the Norfolk County Summer Cup against Norwich-based First Bus.

In the first halfs two games it appeared that Watton were not interested in proceeding further in the cup, going down 6-16 and 7-14.
In the second half Watton decided to make a game of it, winning 15-12 and 17-9 making a 4-4 draw on points.

However, with a superior shots difference First Bus go through to the quarter-finals.
On Sunday, the A team were away to bottom of Division Two club, Diss, where scores of 13-8, 16-11, 20-18 and 12-24 produced a 6-2 win.
