Watton Lightning travelled to City Academy Norwich to play Fusion.
The usual pre-match nerves took their toll on Watton Lightning which saw them trail 3-0 after the first few minutes. However, a series of goals from Beth and Hannah saw Watton take the lead and finish the first quarter 7-3.
The second quarter saw Sam and Jen come on to continue the fast paced play lead by Megan in the mid court. Strong defending from Anna and Laura and perfect shooting saw Watton Lightning storm ahead 17-5 at half-time.
Watton Lightning's fitness meant they had the advantage in the final two quarters and resulted in a 39-14 win. This weeks result ensures Watton Lightning remain at the top of Division Seven of the Norwich Netball League.
