This summer has seen Watton Hockey Club complete the final stages in the amalgamation of the men's, junior and ladies' teams as one club.

The club now boasts a men's team, several junior teams, a ladies' colts team and three senior ladies' teams including the newest third team who will be entering into the Martin & Acock Norfolk Womens Development League for the first time in the upcoming season.

With the joining of the teams as one club Watton hopes to be able to attract and develop new players of all ages and abilities. The new ladies' third team will include all but three players under 15 in hopes of developing them for the step up into the senior ladies' leagues.

They are also currently in discussion with a local primary school to develop links and bring hockey to them at an early age.

Watton are looking for new players for all of their teams and would love to hear from anyone interested in joining.
