Swaffham Town moved up to second place in the Thurlow Nunn First Division after hammering visitors Norwich CBS 6-1 to make it eight wins on the trot,

Those present at Shoemakers Lane witnessed a demonstration of clinical football played by a team that have gelled into a formidable unit.

Ryan Pearson opened his account in the ninth minute after Joe Jackson had played him through, shooting across the box, with his effort going in off the left hand post.

The visitors looked a threat playing long balls over the back four but their tactics didn't trouble the home defence.

The second goal came eight minutes before half-time, Luis Duarte driving home a spilled ball from 15 yards.

The Pedlars continued to push forward after the break and were awarded a penalty when Pearson was brought down in the 60th minute. It was a clear-cut decision and the same player left the keeper with no chance.

Jackson made it four just three minutes later, his goal-bound shot taking a slight deflection ensuring it passed the keeper.
