Swaffham drop a division

Despite finishing third from bottom in the Ridgeons League Premier Division, Swaffham Town will drop to Division One next season.

The reason for this is that the FA has allocated Wivenhoe Town, relegated from the Ryman League, to the Ridgeons League Premier Division for 2008/09.

The reason for this is that the FA has allocated Wivenhoe Town, relegated from the Ryman League, to the Ridgeons League Premier Division for 2008/09.

Wivenhoe's Reserve and Youth teams are already part of the Ridgeons League structure.

Other teams relegated to Division One along with Swaffham for next season are Newmarket Town and Ipswich Wanderers.
