Smashing win for Megan
Megan Wright from Carbrooke won the 12/u county tournament held in Ipswich. She played some really good tennis with lots of varied shots.The tournament was split into two boxes with the winners of each box to play in the final.

Megan played some fantastic tennis, winning all her matches to make her way to the final.
In the final Megan had to play Georgia Moyes, who she knows well from her club.
Megan started the match very strongly, really out-hitting her opponent and soon took the set with no games lost.
The second set was much the same with Megan continuing to dominate her opponent. Georgia was playing well, but found Megan just a bit too strong for her.

With some good tennis from both players, it was Megan who battled on to win the second set and take the match. The match was played with short sets, with Megan winning 4-0.4-0.
