Broadlands travelled to Swaffham today for a Woodfordes Merit Div 2 match, and found themselves perfectly matched against Swaffham's 2nd XV.An unmoveable force met an unmoveable object as both sides struggled and fought hard in what proved to be an excellent spectators game, with territory and posession bouncing back and forth throughout the game.

An unmoveable force met an unmoveable object as both sides struggled and fought hard in what proved to be an excellent spectators game, with territory and posession bouncing back and forth throughout the game.
At the end of 80 minutes however, it was clear that both sides were remarkably well matched in terms of both offensive and defensive play, as the final score of 0-0 confirmed.
Meanwhile Swaffham's 1st XV fared somewhat better when they took on Lakenham, and romped home to a 39-10 victory.
