Winning a crucial toss the visitors elected to bowl and Saham soon found themselves in trouble. Good batting by S Mower (34) and D Sims (22no) saw Saham all out for 124.
L Shaw was the most successful visitors' bowler claiming 4-51 while J Spelman claimed 2-19, A Garlik 2-26 and S Chipperfield 2-8.

When bowling Saham did make a fight of it, claiming five Witchingham wickets but L Shaw carried on his good day by scoring 56. G Maxwell claimed 2-29, W Dyer 1-34 and I Lovick 2-12.
Saham U15 lost to visitors Great Melton who scored 163 for three before Saham fell 40 runs short with 123 for four.
