TAKING a year out to concentrate on his grounds maintenance business, North Pickenham's former F350 British Sidecar Championship winner Wil Smith (who was a Wayland Community High School pupil) is set to return in 2008 to compete in the British F2 Championship.
Wil has teamed up with Sean Starbuck to ride the Team Porter 600 Shelbourne Honda owned by former 1977 British champion Dave Porter.
The pair (pictured above) teamed up in the past for both Classic and F350 races and said they are really excited at the prospect of competing in the British F2 Series.
They thank Dave of Edlington Motors at Warmsworth and Les at Narford Scaffolding of Swaffham for their support.
