Richmond Park Ladies Section welcomed their new captain, Elaine Aberdeen, as she ran through the traditional arch of golf clubs.
This was followed by the Lady Captain's Drive-In Competition, run as a Texas Scramble, resulting in a win for Elaine, Chris Bailey and Annie Long.
Richmond Park press secretary, Chris Bailey, said: 'We are a friendly bunch who are keen to recruit others to join us. We play a variety of competitions both serious and social. You can be as competitive as you like.'
