Fylde claimed their third win of the new National League season with a 3-1 success at Solihull.
Harvey Broad was gifted the opener in the 34th minute when a long ball bounced deep in Solihull’s half and over home keeper Max Metcalfe – who had charged out his area to attempt a headed clearance – and left the new signing with a tap in.
Things got worse for bottom club Solihull when Jack Morris doubled the lead in the 42nd minute.
Jacob Wakeling pulled one back in the 51st minute for Moors with a close-range header but Luca Thomas put Fylde back in firm control with their third on the hour at Damson Park.
Solihull finished strongly and hit the crossbar through Joe Sbarra before Jevon Mills had an effort cleared off the line, but their wait for a first point of the season goes on.
