Robbie Savage watched Forest Green slip to another defeat in the National League after Kahrel Reddin struck a stoppage-time winner in a 2-1 victory for Altrincham.
Visiting Altrincham went ahead after 54 minutes through Jimmy Knowles, but Kyle McAllister levelled immediately for Savage’s men.
Both teams pushed for a winner but it went to Altrincham in the fifth minute of stoppage time when Sam Taylor raced away and picked out Reddin to tap home at the back post.
After a goalless first half at The New Lawn, Knowles broke the deadlock when he fired home from range for Altrincham, but good work from Ricardo Rees out wide helped the hosts pull level through McAllister.
It set up a dramatic finale and Savage watched his team lose for a third consecutive match when Reddin hit them with a sucker-punch deep into time added on.
