Vince Somers was immediately in the groove with a comfortable 3-0 straight game win.

Unfortunately Ian Thompson, Steve Rudd and Jonathan Pearson were all rusty and lack of fitness proved costly, with them all going down 3-0 in straight games.

First string Simon Howling started well, taking the first game, but fatigue then set in with Simon losing the next three to go down 3-1.

Overall a heavy 17-4 defeat, with the likelihood of Watton being in the bottom two again this week. Division Three leaders Watton II take on Barnham Broom next week.
