Watton enjoyed a 6-0 win at Shropham Green as they emerged 44-21 winners on shots.

At Shropham again, against their red team, Watton lost 2-4, 25-34 shots with a 19-13 win for Jim Adams, Sandy and Graham Vellam.

There were two defeats against Thetford in the EBA. At home it was 1-4, 54-61 shots. The winning rink was John Seage, John Walkling, Charles Newman and Graham Vellam (20-16). Away from home Watton slipped to a 5-0 defeat (29-85).

Away in the ADL to Connaught Elm, John Hunter, Sonia and Richard Exley won 17-12. Carol Relf, Alan Hubble and Kevin Simpson lost 15-18 whilst Pat and Ted Prior with Dick Mikulik also went down 15-17. The shots were tied at 47-47 with Connaught taking a 3-5 win. In the annual friendly at Cromer there were wins for Sandy Vellam, John Seage and Mike Mitchell (14-13) and Richard Relf, John Walkling and Graham Vellam (14-13). The home team took the match on shots 84-61.
