There were lots of skilled players at this Essex competition, with Cailean and Chris falling into this category. Cailean breezed through his first three competitors, demonstrating his skills and confidence.
As he reached the final fight for gold, he showed strong determination but was defeated at the last moment. Chris competed in a mixed-weight group, which meant that on occasions he was fighting against much heavier opponents.
Both players competed exceedingly well, winning silver trophies, demonstrating the skills and determination that will hopefully see them qualify for this year's British Judo Nationals.
