WATTON Squash Club second team kept up their recent form with a fine 15-4 home win over Barnham Broom III. Chris Haythorpe cruised to a 9-2 9-3 9-6 straight game 3-0 win.
WATTON Squash Club second team kept up their recent form with a fine 15-4 home win over Barnham Broom III.
Chris Haythorpe cruised to a 9-2 9-3 9-6 straight game 3-0 win.
Dev Mahatme dropped a game but came through 9-2 4-9 9-3 9-7 3-1. Bobby Hunt was very impressive, winning 9-5 9-5 9-5 in straight games.
First string Paul Goodchild started slowly losing the first two games 9-6 9-2. Paul then fought back dominating the third 9-2. Paul also took the fourth 9-5 to force a decider.
The effort took its toll and Paul lost form conceding the fifth 9-3 to go down 3-2.
The result keeps Watton in second place in Division One B.
