This week Swaffham were at Heigham Park Rangers and started confidently when M Friend hit the bar. Rangers hit back and J Lenderyou produced three fine saves before M Friend’s slick pass found L Worby who slotted home.
Heigham then equalised from a corner but E Lait restored Colts lead with a sweet drive from D O’Neill’s pass. Rangers drew level straight after half-time and then came looking for the winner but C Burton and J Melladay held the back line well and with J Lenderyou in great form weathered the storm. D O’Neill’s curling corner was turned into the net by a Rangers defender,
L Worby run onto M Friend’s pass to make it 4-2 then completed his hat-trick when he prodded home after the keeper failed to hold D O’Neill’s rasping shot. A great team effort.
Final score: Heigham Park Rangers 2, Swaffham Town Colts U10 5. MoM: Dillon O’Neill.
