Hats off to golf club ladies for a great day

Swaffham Ladies got into the swing of Easter when they held their annual Lady Captain versus Lady Secretary Matchplay challenge.

Forty-two ladies took part with the weather being kind and the sun shining for this popular fixture in the ladies' calendar. The result was a draw this year, with all the matches being keenly contested.

After the competition, Jan Kirman, Lady Captain, led the parade of Easter bonnets with the winner being decided, after much deliberation, by Beryl Hatton, Lady President. The prizes were Easter-themed — all chocolate!
