Hats off to these New Year archers.

ELEVEN hardy archers turned out for Euston Park Bowmen's traditional New Year's Day shoot.

Although the origin of the idea is unknown, it is also traditional to wear a hat when taking part in this shoot!

The weather was mild and, as the picture shows, the archers thoroughly enjoyed the day.

On Sunday, January 13 four club members attended the Taverham Archers' Stafford shoot.

All enjoyed themselves, and congratulations are given to Michael Saunders who came first in the compound section with a score of 669.
