After the fifth week of play West Acre's Chris Hollands leads a closely-contested Narbeck Boys' Billiards Premier League from Narborough's Ryan Williams who is second.
Williams gained a win over nationally ranked no 13 Danny O'Brien (West Acre) 156-142 , in a very close game played at Narborough Social Club.
It will be interesting to see how Williams continues to progress next season , when he is expected to play on the national Junior Tour against the best young billiards players in the county.
However, with all players having at least four games left O'Brien, Benn Elliott, Josh Reynolds and Sam Reynolds could all still challenge Hollands and Williams for this year's title, this being the 12th holding of this event.
