After a three-week break from league matches, due to other clubs withdrawing from the league, the men will resume their EBA fixtures on Wednesday with a home match against Weeting.

In the Ashill and District League the A team had a rest week. On Tuesday they are at home against Mundford.

Clive's B team gained four away points at Northwold and will be looking to add to this at Weeting on Tuesday.

Meanwhile the C team are finding their league extremely competitive with the addition of some new clubs. Playing away at Shropham they returned empty handed. Captain Eddie will be looking for some home points on Tuesday against Wymondham Dell B.

The club have also played two friendly matches. On Friday the ladies entertained Thetford Ladies. Both clubs were short of a lady, resulting in two men, who will remain nameless, from each club making up the number.

Then on Saturday the club played a mixed triples match against Barnham. Unfortunately the rain curtailed this match to 12 ends, but despite this they all enjoy the friendship and social get together that these events produce.

Spectators are always welcome to all matches.

The open evenings on Fridays at 6pm are proving worthwhile with several beginners trying their hand at bowling.
