Teenager racer Alex Brundle will be hoping for home circuit glory this weekend when
the Henderson Formula Palmer Audi Championship arrives
at Snetterton.
The 17-year-old from King's Lynn is following in the footsteps of his father - former Formula 1 driver and ITV F1 commentator Martin - by pursuing a career in motorsport.
Brundle Junior has already proved his talent amongst a tough field in 2008 by scoring his maiden pole position and three podium finishes, and he is looking for a strong performance at his local track.
Alex said: "I had a good start to the season with three podiums from the first five races and I'm looking to bring that fight to Snetterton.

"It's my favourite circuit in the UK and I've raced there many times before in
T-Cars and FPA. I'm aiming to win or at least score some good points - my attitude is that if you shoot for the stars you land on the moon."
However, Brundle knows he will face a tough battle for supremacy: "The field has really closed up this season so it's impossible to predict who will be the main contenders next weekend.
"There's a great depth of drivers running at a strong pace so I will be thinking of everybody as competition!"
Alex currently lies seventh in the Henderson Formula Palmer Audi Championship standings, just 13 points adrift of 16-year-old Russian driver Ivan Lukashevich - with over 70 points on offer from
this weekend's three races
at Snetterton.
