The Pedlars thrashed Costessey Sports 8-1 to go top of Anglian Combination Division Three. Jamie Buhlemann scored a hat-trick, Billy Russell and Stephen Aspery two apiece and Dean Miller the other, with Costessey down to 10 men before the break and scoring a late consolation penalty.

Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties First Division action begins again on Saturday for Swaffham's first team, at home against March Town United.

The Pedlars did not have a game last weekend and are looking to end a run of successive league defeats.

March sit a place and two points below Swaffham in the table ahead of the game. The match kicks off at 3pm at Shoemakers Lane.
