Thetford Rovers of the Anglian Combination League Division Two reached the final of the Snailwell and District Challenge Cup at their first attempt this week, overcoming Tuddenham Rovers 3-0 at Mildenhall Town's ground on Monday evening.
Thetford Rovers of the Anglian Combination League Division Two reached the final of the Snailwell and District Challenge Cup at their first attempt this week, overcoming Tuddenham Rovers 3-0 at Mildenhall Town's ground on Monday evening.
Thetford will now face their Anglian Premier Division neighbours Brandon Town, who knocked out Cottenham United to reach their fourth final appearance, having won the competition in 1998 and then again in 2007 and 2008.
The final will take place on Sunday. Kick off is at 3.15pm and entrance is �3. Recent recipients of monies raised have been the Rainbow Ward at West Suffolk Hospital, the Cheerful Friday Stroke Club and local Cub and Brownie packs.
