Watton's festive market marks beginning of season
WATTON'S festive market proved a huge success again this year with hundreds turning out to enjoy the fun and games and see the High Street lit up with festive cheer.
WATTON'S festive market proved a huge success again this year with hundreds turning out to enjoy the fun and games and see the High Street lit up with festive cheer.
Amongst the attractions were food stalls, tombolas, donkey and fairground rides, various bands playing a range of music and lots of gifts to buy.
The market is put on by Watton Town Council and has become a regular feature of the Watton calendar.
Town mayor, Margaret Holmes, paid tribute to all those who had helped both behind the scenes and on the day.

She said: 'Thanks to the organisers, especially the town clerk because she put an awful lot of work into this.
'Over all it was a great day and a fun day for all the visitors.
