Primary school pupils in Watton have left buried a hoard of present day items in a time capsule that will be unearthed when they are aged well into their thirties.
Youngsters from Watton Infant and Nursery School visited the Barratt Homes' Knights Park development in the town to bury a time capsule on site with help from site manager Tommy Luxton for residents to open in 30 years' time.
Children at the school included a range of different items to show future residents what life was like in 2019.
Head teacher Helen Kemp said: "This was a fantastic opportunity for the children to bury some of the present day for the future community in Watton."
Mark Cotes, managing director at Barratt Homes Eastern Counties, said: "It will be interesting for those that open the time capsule in 30 years' time to see not only how modern day items have changed, but how Knights Park itself has changed over the years."
