A WATTON man is to take on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for a Norfolk animal sanctuary.

Geoff Bell, 47, plans to tackle the highest mountain in Africa next spring to help PACT animal sanctuary in Woodrising, near Hingham.

He is self-funding the £3,800 he needs to take part in the climbing adventure, and he is now trying to raise as much money as he can for PACT.

“I love animals and that is why I want to help PACT and also take part in a once-in-a-lifetime challenge,” Mr Bell said.

He will be doing public collections for PACT outside the Co-op in Watton on August 18, September 15 and October 13.

Anyone who would like to sponsor Mr Bell should call him on 01953 882925 or find him on Facebook.
