Students young and old will be taken back in time to the Victorian era as the Great Cressingham Victorian School celebrates 25 years.
On May 11 and 12 Victorian schoolmistress Sally North will open the doors to her classroom with Victorian sport competitions and the chance to experience an 1800s lesson.
She has been providing the experience for the last 25 years and has not opened it to the public.
Running her school in Great Cressingham, near Watton, Miss North welcomes groups of primary school children into her classroom.
The building, built in 1840, was a school until the mid-90s, was reopened in 1995 by Miss North who estimates she has taught 25,000 children in Victorian education.
Miss North said: “I love giving children that day that is out of their normal range of experiences. I love having them and I feel very privileged.”
