Shoppers in Swaffham will be able to buy goods for a 1 and get change when the town's latest store opens on Saturday .
The 90p Store is opening in premises almost next door to the town's new Iceland store and will stock a wide range of merchandise with every item at 90 pence. It is the company's fifth store to open with others already trading at Spalding in Lincolnshire and Abingdon in Oxfordshire.
There will be six staff working in the new store which is to open seven-days-a-week. It will be managed by local woman Dawn Cooper.
The 90p Store is the latest new shop to open in the town in recent months. Iceland opened in the former Woolworths and a branch of the betting shop William Hill is now also trading.
Keith Howden, who manages the 90pStore in Spalding, said that the store would sell an extensive range of goods including house-hold, pet products, gardening items, toys and seasonal ranges.
He said customers would be amazed by the range of goods on the shelves and he expected the store to be really busy with customers when the doors open at 9am on Saturday.
