You would expect a beautiful 1958 TR3a to be under lock and key and lovingly protected from the elements.
But fundraiser Peter Pierce is motoring his gleaming red Triumph to just south of the Arctic Circle in an epic journey for the Parkinson's Disease Society.
Mr Pierce, a member of the Swaffham Lions Club, set off from Norwich yesterday on his 6,000km trek via Holland and Denmark to Mo i Rana in Norway.
The round trip over eight days is in memory of his friend, Les Gower, who died after a long struggle with the disease in 2007.
He hopes to raise £10,000.
