A community organisation in Swaffham is preparing for Easter celebrations by distributing Easter baskets.
Swaffham Lion member, David Cunnington, has been making up 25 Easter Baskets to send out to pubs and clubs across Swaffham and the surrounding villages, along with donation sheets numbered one to sixty with squares being sold at £1.
The winning number square will be the bonus ball in the National Lottery on March 24. All proceeds will go to causes supported by the group, which have recently included the Royal British Legion, youth groups and Sophie Burke, a young girl who was born with a rare genetic condition.
The Lions is world's largest service club organisation with over a million members in 46,000 clubs around the world. Their volunteers support many different kinds of community projects - including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry and aiding seniors and the disabled.
