Children were left 'buzzing' after a day of fun, facts and fossils at Swaffham museum on Monday.
The special Fossil Day gave families the chance to interact with genuine artefacts and learn something new about the past.
Children and adults got their hands dirty with activities including a fossil trail and a fossil making workshop.
Education officer Sian Hogarth said there was a vibrant atmosphere throughout the day.
'All the children were buzzing at the chance to get the hands on the fossils,' she said.
'The day worked very well and it was great to see such a positive turn out.'
