PEOPLE will have the chance to step back to Victorian times in Great Cressingham next week.
The Great Cressingham Victorian School, usually only open for school visits, is opening its doors to the public for a whole week from Monday.
Husband and wife team Tom and Sally North renovated the school in 1993 to recreate what it would have been like for schoolchildren in 1883, and ever since Mrs North has been the headmistress of the school which is run as a living museum.
Next week at the school people will also be able to see a special needlework exhibition of Victorian and Edwardian samplers, smocks and bonnets.
The school and exhibition are open from Monday, March 1 to Sunday, March 7 from 11am until 4pm.
