Carbrooke Primary School's new fundraising campaign for seven new digital cameras has got off to a flying start thanks to a donation from Shaun Jolly, partner of St James's Place Wealth Management.

Shaun was alerted to the campaign by his PA Julie Beath, who has two children at the school. Last week he visited the school to present a cheque for £150 which will buy the first of the cameras.

“We are very grateful to Shaun and St James's Place Wealth Management for their generous donation”, said headteacher Sue Youngs. “We ordered a camera straight away as we hope to have it for next Wednesday when a group of our pupils will be playing at Carrow Road in the Community Cup”.

The Friends of Carbrooke School are continuing with their fundraising by approaching other local businesses for support. If you think you can help then please contact Julie Beath on 01953 852591.
