A CHILDREN'S day nursery in Swaffham has been rated as satisfactory by Ofsted inspectors.

Whitsands Day Nursery and Clubs opened in 2006 out of Swaffham community centre in Campingland and has 43 children on its roll.

According to a report by inspectors who visited the nursery in February, the school is overall satisfactory.

Engagement with parents and carers was good.

To improve it should take all reasonable steps to ensure that hazards to children are kept to a minimum, carry out more observational assessments are held and improve planning.
