Residents in a Norfolk market town have been warned to be vigilant while police investigate suspicious activity.
The warning to Swaffham residents comes after a number of cars in Southlands, Orchard Place and Queen Street were interfered with between 2.30am and 3.30am on Sunday.
In some cases, doors were opened and vehicles were searched but it is not believed anything has been stolen.
Breckland Police also posted on social media to urge motorists to ensure their vehicles are locked after an unknown person was seen to trying the doors of vehicles and 'brazenly walking onto driveways'.
Anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the areas or anyone with information should contact PC Ryan Thorogood at Dereham Police Station on 101.
