They turned into reporters for the Galilee Times, the Jerusalem Journal and the Bethlehem News - and RE lessons have never been better!
Youngsters aged nine and 10 in year five at Watton Junior School worked in teams to produce their own front pages as part of a series of RE days run by Mid Norfolk Youth for Christ.
The organisation has teamed up with the school for sessions for all pupils and on Wednesday the year fives put what they had learned about Jesus into print.
They created news stories about Jesus healing people, how he died and rose again, they made their own headlines, got pictures and formed adverts before putting being put under pressure to complete the front page within the deadline.
“It has been awesome!” enthused Tia Malt, nine. “I learned that it is really good to work together and we all played our part.”
Shion Barker, nine, said: “Jesus healed lots of people and we were able to report on that.”
