GREAT Dunham Primary School will stage a sponsored fun run later this month to help fund a new eco-classroom for its pupils.
Entrants of all ages and abilities are being encouraged to walk or run the 5km course, starting from 10.30am on Saturday, May 22.
The event will be held on soft, off-road tracks at Kempstone Manor Farm, which lies between Litcham and Great Dunham, near Swaffham.
Anyone crossing the finish line will receive a medal and a goody bag, while stalls will be selling refreshments, sports equipment and designer clothing. There will also be a raffle, with prizes including a round of golf, cinema tickets and manicures.
Money raised will go towards a 132,000 project to replace 30-year-old classrooms for early-year pupils.
The event has already benefited from 3,000 donated by local businesses, but organisers have urged more participants to register to increase the fundraising potential of the day.
