S&A Jones Developments has applied to Breckland Council to knock down a bungalow at 119 Norwich Road and redevelop the site, which fronts the B1108 road.
In the application, agent David Futter Associates said the plans are for a mix of properties which would cater for families, single people and older residents.
There would be a range of detached and semi-terraced houses and cottages and a small block of flats.
