A NORFOLK pet food company is set for the big screen this month when it is featured in a spoof news report by man's best friend alongside one of the big summer blockbusters.

Natures Menu, based in Watton and which specialises in natural pet food, has created the advert to appear before screenings of the movie Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore.

The film, which opens in cinemas today, is the sequel to the 2001 hit Cats and Dogs.

In a 'barking news' bulletin that will appear in cinemas across the country, different dogs tell the canine reporter why they love Natures Menu food.

Craig Taylor, managing director of Natures Menu Petfoods, said: 'The movie, which is about cats and dogs having to work together to defeat a rogue cat spy, has already been tipped as the film of the summer.

'Natures Menu decided it would be the perfect platform to tell pet owners about our food and who better to deliver the message than pets themselves!'

Natures Menu Petfoods is part of Anglian Meat Products, a family-run business which has been creating natural pet foods for many years.
