FAMILIES living in and around Swaffham are invited to don some crazy headwear on April Fool's Day for a Mad Hat Tea Party.
Parents and children aged five and under are welcome, with a free eco bag and other gifts for every family. As well as hats, tea and cake, Stevie Spud will also be on hand to show off his circus skills and magic tricks.
The Swaffham Area Sure Start Centre, which caters for families from as far away as Necton, Castle Acle and King's Lynn, will be hosting the free event, at Swaffham VC Infant and Nursery School from 2pm until 5pm.
Centre co-ordinator Liz Thurston said: 'I think it's going to be a really fun day for children and families, I'm hoping to see some new faces - and lots of hats.'
For more information contact the centre on 01760 721101.
